Tashan release is boycotted by multiplexes

Tashan has run into trouble just a day before its grand release as the negotiations going on between Yash Raj Films and Multiplexes over sharing revenue has gone down like a lead balloon. Around 125 mulitplex chains like PVR,Adlabs, Inox, Fame India, Fun Cinemas, Movietime and Cinemax have delayed signing an agreement to screen Tashan. So tomorrow Tashan will not see the light of the day in most of the multiplexes or single screens owned by them. Come on, for the sake of the bikini scene with Kareena, get the show on the on road.....the public cant wait to see this movie.

Apparently Yashraj was demanding higher share of profit around 55 percent for first week collections, which did not go well with Multiplex chains.

Poor Aamir Khan has infured himself when a tough stunt for his upcoming movie Ghajini went wrong.

According to an onlooker on the set, Aamir was required to pull up a very fat goon and smash him against the wall. During this incident Aamir ruptured his hamstring muscle and was not able to stand due to the pain.

A physiotherapist immediately attended Aamir and when the pain aggravated the star was hospitalized. Wife, Kiran Rao immediately flew down to Hyderabad to be beside her hubby in pain.

Ghajini’s shooting has been stalled and will resume only after the actor is 100%

Kajol's father Shomu Chaterjee passes away

Sadness and deep shock struck Kajol this weekwhen her father Shomu Chaterjee passed away a day before the release of her new flick ‘U Me aur Hum.’

Shomu Chatterjee was a very well known writer, director and producer and made classics like Sangdil Sanam and Pathar ke Insaan.

Mrs Tanuja Chatterjee and two daughters Kajol and Tanishaa are grieving privately and have not spoken to the media.

Movie Review- Shaurya- Bollywood's version of "A Few Good Men".

Think of Indian army and the thought that strikes your mind first is war, blood, gore and neighbors Pakistan. But the new movie on the block Shaurya is not about soldiers in Indian army its about lawyers in army who are as important as their soldier counterparts. Now lets not mistake Shaurya to be a patriotic movie it’s a story about justice, loyalty, truth and courage.

When you have powerful and dynamic actors like Kay Kay Menon, Rahul Bose and Javed Jaffery all together in a movie you expect it to be a great movie and director Samar Khan doesn’t disappoint you ‘coz the film has such an impact that even after you leave the theatre it forces you to think and the values of Shaurya keep lingering in your mind.

Shaurya is alleged to be inspired from the Hollywood blockbuster “A Few Good Men” and the Bollywood touch is given by adding communal hatred content. But Samar Khan who advocates truth, justice and loyalty in Shaurya doesn’t even wink before copying the whole plot from A Few Good Men. If you haven’t seen AFGM then you would like the movie but people like me who have already seen Tom Cruise blockbuster will feel ashamed of Bollywood’s plagiarism.

The plus points of Shaurya is performances from the lead actors, excellent chemistry between buddies Javed and Rahul, awesome climax-worth sitting through the whole movie, good direction, high quality Cinematography,

Sanjay Dutt and Manyata were scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday with regards to their marriage which was deemed illegal, when Manyata’s alleged first husband, Meraj Rehman, showed up at the court.

‘I want Sanjay Dutt to leave my wife and I feel that he should remain behind the bars for marrying an already married woman. I have nothing to do with Manyata, I just want my son back,’ said Meraj.

Manyata’s first husband, Meraj claims that he is still married to her. Come on woman, you could have checked the paperwork!

Movie Review:One Two Three ....forget it!!

Watching paint is more fun than One, Two , Three..

While going out to see One Two Three, keep in mind to open up your head, squeeze out your brain and stuff some hay into your empty head, because for the next three hours what you see is utter nonsense. The dialogues are good, the witty one-liners were ok but the script lacked the masala.

Coming to the performances , Sunil Shetty is good, Paresh Rawal repeats his monotonous Hera Pheri Act (I am sick of this), Upen Patel- no comments, Mukesh Tiwari and Vrajesh Hirjee are so so , Tusshar Kapoor needs to work on his dialogue delivery, Esha Deol looks dumb, Sameera Reddy’s act is a dud Tanishaa is bad and Neetu Chandra overacts.

Bolly peeps, don’t expect anything great from the movie and you might actually end up enjoying it, otherwise it’s a strict no-no, ‘the three hours spent on a dingy seat in your local Cineworld is a complete waste of time....sorry folks

It so happened that Tanushree, dolled up in skimpy clothes, was rehearsing an item song with the film’s choreographer and actor Nana Patekar. Provoked by her outfit some junior artist on the sets passed a lewd comment on Tanushree. To add to the insult, Nana Patekar reportedly said that she should have covered her body up to prevent people from getting provoked. Tanushree was so upset that she refused to perform with Nana. The song is reportedly very sexy and Nana was supposed to touch her in some shots....lucky for him. The actress stormed into her vanity van refusing to come out of it. This delayed the shoot for over two hours. To much annoyance, the producer cancelled the shoot. Now, the queen of item numbers, Rakhi Sawant, has bagged in the song...shame Tanu!

After a serious drought in lead role offers, Shilpa Shetty is preparing some serious snake hip action having been offered the opening item song in ‘Dostana‘, a K Johal movie. The real stars of the film are Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham, Priyanka Chopra and Bobby Deol in lead roles. She has promised to outshine the cast with her funky dance groves.

All these months of forced publicity post Big Brother and Jade Goody has not really given her the roles she would have ideally loved to bag/

Siaf is the voice for the rich spolit dog "Romeo" who falls in love with a stinking bombay bitch, voiced by Kareena ( is this based on a true story at all!!) . Sounds like Lady and a Tramp to me..but the other way around. Anyway, Yash Raj has collaborated with Walt Disney to produce this "set to be" hit film.
